Paul holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and works as a lecturer and creative writing tutor. He runs three different workshops on haiku:

THE ART OF HAIKU

A practical session exploring the history of haiku and working through a range of exercises to develop an understanding of the essential technical elements and principles of the form.

Suitable for: Ages 14+

Duration: Between 3-5 hours

A HAIKU WALKSHOP

A combination of a creative writing workshop and a guided haiku walk, in which haiku poetry is explored as a writing practice that deepens our connection to our environment.

Duration: Between 3-5 hours

AN INTRODUCTION TO HAIKU

A light and interactive introduction to haiku, exploring the basic elements of the form through a range of practical activities and discussion.

Suitable for: Ages 8+

Duration: Between 1hr30-2hrs
